Bilim Akademisi member Prof. Celal Şengör was awarded the 2020 Eduard Suess Medal by the The Austrian Geological Society (Österreichische Geologische Gesellschaft).

The award ceremony is planned for Spring 2021 due to Covid-19 measures.
